TPE: All Aboard the Mark Twain, Pt. 1

Today, Time Travelers should be prepared for a fantasmical journey around the Rivers of America aboard the Mark Twain! The excitement builds as you stand at the dock and see the Twain (aka the Floating Wedding Cake) round the corner, getting closer with each spin of the wheel.

Getting closer...

Here is an early view of the dock, circa April 1958.

Zooming in, you can see that it originally was called The Disneyland Steamship Co.:

It's here!

Pulling away from the dock, our journey begins.

Look at that wheel churn! If only that water were chocolate.

The envious guests along the shore see the Might Mark get further and further away.

TOMORROW: See the vintage wonders along the way!

I am guessing that you at least three more photos of the Mark Twain in your collection.

Actually Major - about 4 more. They are almost as difficult to come by as Hippos on the Jungle Cruise photos.
