Our random set for today takes us to Fantasyland, starting off with a typical shot of those swirling teacups. Naturally, I bypass the teacups and hone in on the Mickey Mouse Theater signage:
Coming in for a landing, our Skyway bucket sails over the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant.
On dry land again, here’s a trio of shots of this much-missed restaurant/attraction:
Taken from the Fantasyland Skyway Station, this view features Dumbo and many of the other beloved Fantasyland attractions.
Last one for today shows Merlin’s Magic Shop peaking out from behind the souvenir/information booth:

Beautiful photos! In the last shot of the pirate ship, there is a lady holding something...flowers?
I love looking at the clothing and find myself actually thinking of dressing in vintage clothing once in a while. If I was 20 years younger, I could rock that look!

I really like the last two. The new fantasyland has it all over in detail and texture, etc. Looks very real in a way that the old one did not.
But the old two-dimensional brightly colored look is valid too, they resembled the cartoon world without getting as literal as Toontown later would become. A good look for it's time, photogenic and easy to build.
