The Gardner Collection, Disneyland 1955: Pt. 2

More Frontierland Fun today, courtesy of Dick Gardner! What better way to start than with the entrance gate, which is looking pretty sparse and unspoiled back in August 1955.

Sheriff Lucky is just taking it easy here in shot #2; I have also added a closeup of the poster advertising the C.K. Holliday.

Last but not least is the Indian Village:

Pretty nostalgic. I haven't highballed in an open freight car at Disneyland in many years.

Wow - I've never seen that poster before...

Super nice stuff, that C.K. Holliday poster is awesome (and it's a great photo of Sheriff Lucky as well)!

Very nice Dave. The Sheriff is my favorite.

Oooh, the original Indian Village situated next to the Jungle Cruise! And a colour photograph at that! You've made my Sunday, Dave!

Very cool! The dancer in Indian Village photo on the far right is my father in law, he was also in westerns in the 50's/60's (Yellowstone Kelly, Flaming Star..) We love coming across these!
