
When I first saw photos and read about Christo & Jeanne Claude’s Gates Project in Central Park, I just didn’t get it. To me it seemed like an Emperor’s New Clothes art scam, using orange fabric. In person though, I have to admit it was pretty cool. And the many others walking “through” the orange colored gates that day thought so too. Who knew?!?
