The Gardner Collection, Disneyland 1955: Pt. 5

It’s the big finish, and today‘s post is focused on Central Plaza with a few other images thrown in "just because.” Vesey Walker is leading the parade in image #1, followed by The Red Wagon Inn. The lady in the blue dress seems to be having a heck of a time with the stroller!

In this one, it appears that Sheriff Lucky (far right) has lost his way to Frontierland and is hanging out in the Plaza.

What set of photos would be complete without a castle shot?

And a rare angle of the train at the Frontierland Depot, with Fowler's Harbor in the background:

That was sure an amazing series Dave, Thank you and thanks to Dick Gardner for sharing.

Funny seeing the "No Smoking" sign on the train car in the last photo. I wonder what people thought of a "No Smoking" sign in 1955? P.s. I was in NC last year, folks there still smoke everywhere, even in the Super Markets, YUCK!
