Red Wagon Inn, September 1963

This photo of the Red Wagon Inn near Central Plaza was taken almost two years before it would become the Plaza Inn. And just for good measure, I’ll throw in a Castle picture so that nobody calls me a one-post slacker. Happy Veteran’s Day!

See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland photos at my main website.

Two very nice shots. The castle doesn't get much love because we've all seen it a billion times, but this is an especially pretty photo.

Hey Jordan- want to help me while I unscrew the Red Wagon sign from the building. They won't notice it is gone because they are going to change the name anyway.

Thanks for the nice view of the Red Wagon Inn, my favorite restaurant.

You can see the ubiquitous fake tree stumps still out front of the Frontierland fort entryway. I wonder when they removed those?
