A Day at Disneyland, September 1964 (pt. 4—the big finish)

I’m late today—lots going on with my website (Indiana Jones page, Jungle Cruise page, and SO MUCH MORE), so to make up for it, you get a plethora of images today. To finish off the 1964 Family Day Series, I start you off with our family rushing up the drawbridge to enter Fantasyland. I would bet that’s the favorite thing for children to do: run up the ramp and see what awaits them on the other side. Snow White’s Wishing Well (sans family) is next. Gotta’ love Adriana trilling away over there.

Our little blond beauties seem to be having a swell time with the Pack Mules. And, for the last family photo (taken by but not showing them), I present to you the Matterhorn. My last pic of the day is totally random, and only about 11 years old, but dagnabbit, I love it: Goofy greeting guests as they enter the parking lot. Yes, the parking lot (better get another box of Depends, Jordy).

See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland photos at my main website.
