Restrooms Fit For A Prince...Or Princess!

If you have a thing for bathrooms, this Fantasyland Prince Men's Restroom Sign may be the vintage Disneyland collectible for you! The upcoming Van Eaton Galleries auction on December 7th has the men’s AND women’s restroom signs available for bidding.

From the catalog:

An early 1950s-60s park-used wooden Sleeping Beauty Castle men's restroom sign featuring a prince wearing a medieval helmet. The hand-painted sign measures 16"x16" and is in good condition with minor wear from use and display, as well as some discoloration to the reverse side. The original metal mounting hardware is still attached. This is an incredibly rare and memorable piece of the original Sleeping Beauty Castle.

I can’t believe somebody found a shot with the sign in it; sadly my vintage photo collection (so far!) does not include this sign.

The Fantasyland Princess Women's Restroom Sign.

An early park-used wooden Sleeping Beauty Castle women's restroom sign featuring a princess with a fleur de lis patterned hat. The hand-painted sign measures 16"x16" and is in good condition with minor wear from use and display, as well as some discoloration to the reverse side. The original metal mounting hardware is still attached.

As of the time I put this post together, only the Women’s Restroom sign had a bid on it.
