With it being the holidays, seems like the perfect time to stop by the Monorail Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel for a cocktail. Oops...it's not there anymore. Enjoy this August 1962 peak at the vintage signage.

Swell photo! In COFFEE,TEA, OR ME, the uninhibited 1967 memoirs of two airline stewardesses, the girls list their favorite nightspots in cities throughout the United States, with the "Disneyland Bar" making the grade for the Los Angeles area. They probably meant the Monorail Lounge, though there was also The Top of the Park.
This was a great idea when drinks weren't available in the park. Bound to drive some business to the hotel.
Now, I just step over to DCA and have a cocktail in the fancy theater.
