Groundhog Day, 1956
Another great early publicity shot from February 1, 1956, that made its way across the wires. From the accompanying text:
Mr. Groundhog! You won’t see your shadow tomorrow! So says seven-year-old Brent John Terry, who chose groundhogs to hunt instead of “b’ar” when he visited Disneyland with his mother, Mrs. H. Terry of Sugar City, Idaho, on groundhog Day.
Today, this photo would have PETA all over Disney's a$% faster than a duck on a junebug.
