July 1965 @ Disneyland, Pt. 5

The series finishes out with a day in Frontierland...and a grand finale in Storybook Land. Get on your pack mule (or Mine Train) and let’s go! First up is a super-closeup of Cascade Peak. Can you hear those thundering falls now?

Some scenery along the way of the Mine Train attraction:

And layering, Frontierland-style, as we pass guests on the Pack Mules:

Two shots from The Living Desert:

If you closely at this detail shot, you can see the sails from The Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant:

A live shot of the Golden Horseshoe; a guest group of vocalists?

This looks more like a photo of a photo, as I have a hard time believing that the cast members posed for guests like this:

And out of a clear-blue-sky, we have this gorgeous closeup from Storybook Land, featuring the area that The Tremaine’s hail from:

I wonder if Lady Tremaine and her two lovely daughters would like to take a trip to the Clairol Pavilion over at Gorilla's. It might do them some good.

That must be the Ward Singers on stage in that one photo, a gospel group that performed at the Golden Horseshoe during the summer for many years.

Wow, another great bunch of photos! Love the pack mule shot, the desert shots, etc.
