Wednesday WOW: The “New” Tomorrowland, 1967
Keep in mind that this photo came about before Photoshop. Isn’t it a beauty? This is the Tomorrowland that all of us wish would return, as there is so much going on! The PeopleMover, the Rocket Jets soaring high above the park (not smack dab in the middle of the entrance), the Monorail (visible lower right), the Matterhorn (I know, technically it’s Fantasyland!), and look at those fireworks! Wow! Hopefully today’s Tomorrowland is in line for some TLC as it sorely needs it.
And here’s one of Dean Jones from the lobby of the Bird Cage Theatre just to let him know that Dean wasn’t forgotten in the shadow of Lauren Tewes!
See more Disneyland Tomorrowland photos at my regular website.

And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is what Tomorrowland is supposed to look like! It's all about the movement!!!!! If only they still had the Moonliner then...
That photo of Tomorrowland is STUNNING!
That is....Tomorrow!
Just a wonderful picture.
Zowie, now that's a cool Tomorrowland photo!
You know that's a masterpiece. Even the "Goodyear" sign is square to the camera.
Wowee! We can even see inside the Bell Telephone exhibit!
That picture is indeed a beauty!
And I have always loved Dean Jones.
Disneyland should design a mural based on your stunning photo. It's eye candy.
WOW!
The other day as I was waiting 45min. in line(with a 4 year old)
to meet Tink at Pixie Hollow,
I looked at the the UGLY Rockets blocking the entrance to Tomorrowland and thought back to when the rockets were Flying High in the air, in the middle of Tomorrowland... Back there, you really felt like you were in Space! not just a few feet off the ground looking at the Hub!
and riding the elevator up to the ride... was like you were going up to get on an Apollo Space Shuttle!
Thanks Dave for the memories! this shot has Everything!!!
T'land went straight to my screen backdrop, thank you Daveland!!
