Freaky Fridays @ The Haunted Mansion: NBC Takes Over The Mansion

No, I’m not referring to the TV network; I’m talking about Nightmare Before Christmas. Changes begin every September to convert the Haunted Mansion into a Tim Burton Festival, with Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero in tow. Here are some before-hand shots (from 2006), showing what happens behind the fence as the castmembers begin the conversion.

Dave has connections and VERY long arms :-)...

I'm still not 100% into the Skellington version, it's too bright and not scary, but everyone else seems to like it. At least I have something to look forward to each year when its removed.

"...I have something to look forward to each year when its removed" Ouch!

I actually like the HM overlay the best in the park, but it helps when Nightmare is one of my favorite movies...

You also don't have the logical problems of the Christmas overlay of It's a Small World, where you have puppets celebrating Christmas in parts of the world where Christmas is a crime punishable by death.
