The Haunted Whaley House
The Whaley House, best known as one of the most famous Haunted Homes in America, is located in Old Town State Park in San Diego. Leading off this post is an August 1962 image followed by a contemporary shot, taken by yours truly.
If the Whaley House isn't enough creepy for you, just stroll a few blocks down the street and take a gander at the historic El Campo Cemetery.
This Catholic Cemetery from 1849 is like something out of the Old West.
Over the years as Old Town was built up, some graves were moved, and some weren't; they were just paved or built over. Oops. Sounds like "Poltergeist" to me.

Ah, the Whaley House! I grew up about a half a mile from Old Town and it's cool to see the old neighborhood. Thanks Dave.
