Disneyland July 1963
A trio of images from July 1963 beginning with one of the entrance to the Douglas Moonliner, or the attraction formerly known as the TWA Moonliner. Of course my eye immediately goes to the cool vintage pink feather Disneyland hat.
Elsewhere in Tomorrowland, it appears that Pinocchio has gotten lost and is now grooving to some cool tunes with The Spacemen and Kay Bell. Is Kay the auburn haired beauty just visible behind our wooden friend?
Last and somewhat least is a shot of the entrance to the Sleeping Beauty Castle Diorama in Fantasyland:
And a contemporary view from a similar angle:
More vintage and current Disneyland photos at my main website.

That little sign "Exit to Frontierland" - somehow makes it clear to me that I can just walk this way and be in another place altogether. That was always part of the magic for me - the diversity of theming and attractions at Disneyland. I'm glad it's still there.
Dave, if that chanteuse's hair looks raven to you, you must be seeing some funny colored ravens around. Lovely shots today, Mr. D! Always appreciated...
Dave, again you blow me away with the images you find. I've never seen an image of Kay Bell and the Spacemen before. At last a color one. Thanks again!
Patrick - It's too early for ball busting. Raven/auburn....whatever!
Nah, offered in the lightest ff early fun....
I just need to make sure I write my posts the night before instead of when I first wake up! Never know what I might type!
