Today I am displaying two June 21, 1970 shots of the Davy Crockett Frontier Arcade, including a rare interior shot.
Here are a few contemporary shots for comparison's sake, showing what is now called the Pioneer Mercantile:
The only interior shot I have is of one of the cool hanging light fixtures:
Looks like I have an assignment for my next visit to Disneyland!

It may be the only interior shot you have...but still, great detail. I gather that is probably Pocahontas??
I wish that the souvenirs were still what they were decades ago...It seems that so many of the shops are the same these days...

Unique souvenirs geared towards individual shops would be nice. Mighty fine pics Dave...both vintage and HDR!
Nice interior shot of the old Davy Crockett Arcade. I always manage to find something to buy at Poineer Mercantile when visting Disneyland, but most of it is pretty poor pickings.
Last visit, it held mostly "Cars" merch., which seemed weird.
There were a few "Woody" Toy Story items, but not much western theme otherwise.
I would think that sales would increase with specific themed items, but, what do i know...
