Tell-No-Tales Thursdays: Watch out overhead!

As you leave the jail, you need to be careful of “falling” debris from above and burning embers nearby. There are many props precariously dangling amidst the flames as your boat exits the jail scene.

In honor of the just released FANTASTIC DVD sets of Zorro Season One and Season Two, I will be posting images from the Viewmaster Set in glorious color. Readers—if you love Zorro, you cannot miss these two collector tins. The extras are great and these episodes have never looked or sounded better. Check ’em out! These color images are from the first episode of Zorro, and are presented in (of course!) chronological order.

“Don Diego exercised on his return voyage.”

“Bernardo, our Pueblo is under the heel of a tyrant.”

“The Stagecoach rolled into the Pueblo of Los Angeles.”

That color "Zorro" image startled me at first, until I saw the mention of the Viewmaster set. My family had a black and white TV when I was a kid, so there were other shows that WERE in color (like Batman and all of my saturday morning cartoons) that I know I first saw in b&w.
