1950’s Disneyland Visit: Tomorrowland

Since you already saw the Moonliner shot from this series, that only leaves 2 Tomorrowland shots for today. First up is the Autopia. I see a young lady who looks a little perturbed and another with a hand on the hip...this can only mean trouble!

Shot #2 shows that the Flags of the Nations have already been moved to the Tomorrowland entrance. Dead center are the Clock of the World and the Moonliner. What a view! While you’re looking at those, take the time to drool a little over those fantastic attraction posters lining the entrance as well.

And so with that, yet another series comes to a close. See more Disneyland Tomorrowland photos at my website.

Beige... white. They're not bringing on the pretty cars, that's the beef in the top pic!

The bottom one is quite the moment in time.

The people in the first picture are perturbed because some rowdy boys decided they were going to go around one more time and there wasn't anything you could do about it.

Such hooliganism dropped 25% when the center rail was installed in the next month. Sharpshooters dressed as rubberheads brought unauthorized "go arounds" down to 0%.

That second photo is fantastic, with that "golden hour" light!

I see the 2nd picture and I think Dad with the camera was hoping "I hope I snapped it before that guy walked into the frame, I hope I snapped it before that guy walked into the frame"

3 weeks later, a man in Peoria, Illinois picked up his developed film at the local camera shop and was heard to mutter:

"$%@*#((!!! *+&*ng ^!@%# !!!!!"

He would later invent the Digital Camera.
