A day on the Columbia



Although not quite as popular as her sister, The Mark Twain, the Columbia is still a crowd pleaser. Shot 1 shows her docked in Fowler’s Harbor, January 1968. The next 4 images are from June 1960.



For this shot, I have included a detailed view, as I do not believe the structure on the right survived for very long.

Re: the detail of that structure...is that the bandstand that used to sort of stick out into the river? It looks different from this angle, but I think that's what it is...

David - yes, that is the bandstand that is in a few other pics on my site. Not sure when it disappeared though.
