Although there is a good amount of nighttime long exposure blur, this is still a cool one, from June 1960. You can see the banner promoting Nature’s Wonderland, America the Beautiful in Tomorrowland, and the Art of Animation. I have also included a closeup from the righthand side; there is a Disneyland Vehicle (logo on the door) that is not part of the regular Main Street fleet, as well as some large unidentified wheels; any of the experts know about these?

While we’re in Town Square, here’s one from November 1963 that shows Vesey Walker leading the band, with Christmas Decorations draped over Main Street.

Check out more Disneyland Town Square photos at my main website.

Hmmm, that first photo is a mystery. Could it have been taken after closing (or maybe very near closing)? The thing with the large wheels almost looks like it is has a firehose (for cleaning the streets?), and that vehicle sure doesn't look like one of Bob Gurr's designs!
Yup, looks like a hose reel for power washing/cleaning. The man on the left looks like he may be wearing a name tag - probably an after hours 'tour' going on here. Nice shot.
Reminds me of an after-hours photo of me, my wife and the friends who took us to dinner at Club 33--except we posed at the Hub and our escort was a truly charming waitress.
That wheel is actually an antique firehose carrier from the main street fire station (it's there today). The truck is a late 40's Chev, and is probably part of a car show (they would have many). Signed: X-Cast member from the time.
It is a hose cart as anonymous has said. It looks like one from 1920-1950s
