Finishing off Reel 2 today, starting off with an old time Circus Wagon that carries the tents. #2 is Billy Burke, the “Boss” Clown.

Pic #3 is Bob-O the Clown (Bob Amsberry) and Mousketeer Princess (I wonder if they had to get permission from Cinderella to use this vehicle?).

The final one for Friday is the parade entering past the ticket wagon.

I love all the Orange trees in the background! These photos sure are detailed, it does seem like they were expecting the MMC Circus to be a big hit! I can understand Walt's thinking (and love of the Circus), but in Retrospect, it is kind of out of place in DL! Thanks for scanning these gems!

P.s. Major, I too wish there was more coverage of the Viewliner. It's almost like it was ignored on purpose? I guess maybe they knew it would be a short term attraction?
I hadn't looked at my MMC Circus Viewmaster for so long, it's like seeing it for the first time! These pictures really evoke another era, you get a nice sense of the excitement that folks used to feel when the circus came to town.
