Disneyland 1956, Pt. 2: Tomorrowland

Today’s 1956 excursion takes us to Tomorrowland, with a great view of the Monsanto Hall of Chemistry, which would close in 1966 (today the building is Star Tours). I have also included a detail shot of the front directional signage.

See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland Tomorrowland photos at my main website.

Man, I would love to visit every one of those locations indicated on that sign.

I don't believe I've ever heard of the "Tomorrow Today" exhibit...does it say it's sponsored by Crane? Maybe the "Bathroom of Tomorrow" was considered in poor taste.

How is it that Disney can make something called "The Hall of Chemistry" sound like fun?
