Adventureland Hotel, August 1956

Once again, Matterhorn pulls through with an identification for me. This building is located near the bazaar in Adventureland...and again, looks like another security guard on the far left, or someone from the military.

See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland Adventureland photos at my main website.

Maybe Frontierland, based on those roof tiles...? I am stumped! Once in a while I've found slides that I am pretty sure are from Disneyland, but can't pinpoint the exact location.

I believe this is the Adventureland Hotel that was located right next to the bazaar. If you go back into my archives I have a shot that is close to here. The big clue is the writing on the second story balcony in the upper left hand corner and the thatched roof. Kind of weird architecture in Adventureland at this time.

Yes, the writing was one of the things I noticed, it sure looks like Spanish, which seems more Frontierland to me than Adventureland. Kooky!
