There was a Parrot??? Maybe the Parrot WAS the free exhibit? Nice capture of the background in the blurry Polly photo!
I can't make out the prices on the menu, but it looks like there's nothing over $1 !!!
In those days people thought that EVERYTHING took some sort of ticket, so there was a need to label anything that was a walk-through "Free Exhibit." Even the COTS ship was avoided because it was thought to be a ride that cost money.
