July 1961 at Disneyland, Pt. 2

For the shots shown here, I have the negatives, which means that I am getting the most bang for my OCD buck! Yesterday, the back of the Frontierland entrance was featured; today the back of the Adventureland gate is shown. That ca-raaaaaazy photographer...always doing things in reverse. Our trio of posers look appropriately thrilled to be in front of the camera. I think the light blue sash on the older lady must be too tight.

Shot #2 shows the cast members for the Submarine Voyage and the summertime patriotic bunting that appears in so many vintage photos.

Yes, the 'grays' were the best. Thanks for that shot of the subs.

Thanks for the interesting shot of the back side of signage. Is there anything special to know about that pink stucco counter with the tin roof over, or is it just decor?

Neat angles, the background on the sub photo looks like a post card. Katella, that weird tin covered area always intrigues me. There is still a weird covered spot in the same area, but remodeled a few times since these 1961 gems.

Thanks Dave!

I like the photo of the Sub dock. Very clean and classic.
