July 1955 in 3D, Pt. 3
Today marks the final installment in my July 1955 Genuine FauxD© Disneyland images. This set only had one from Tomorrowland, so you better savor every pixel!
The mighty Mark Twain sails down the Rivers of America with very little scenery to look at.
Note the vehicle on the banks and the two gentlemen walking nearby.
I don't recall ever seeing these fancy lounge chairs on the top of the Twain before.
Last one today could be a teepee from Disneyland, or it might be from Knott’s Berry Farm. I'll let you decide.
While this ends the Disneyland July 1955 series, there are some from Marineland and Knott’s on the horizon!
See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland photos at my main website.

All excellent shots for showing angles I don't see often, the left of the rocket ( most go to the right ), the banks of the ROA, and those chairs... Wow. Walt and Lillians, maybe? Who knows?
Sure would like to hear the story on those deck chairs on the MT. A fascinating bit of history there. KS
Agree on those deck chairs. Here is a photo of Walt standing on the Hurricane deck aboard the Mark Twain with those deck chairs visible behind him.

Don't know how long they lasted... but it appears Dave you have a pretty unique photo as Guests were not allowed out on this deck as their was no safety railings for them.
Regarding the teepee... I'm going with Knott's Berry farm because the brush is too high for Disneyland and no other visible markers can be seen... unless it was on the far edge of the Indian Village?
Always your pal,
Amazon Belle
Dave, I agree with Amazon Belle. I'm pretty sure these Gorillas Don't Blog photos show the other side of that same teepee.
Sorry, I'm late to the party. I have a lot of catching-up to do . . . am trying to read everyone's past blog posts and comments, so it'll be a while before I get caught up on yours, too . . .
I LOVE your 3D pictures, Dave! - especially the Disneyland ones!
Sue
Chuck & Amazon - Yup...based on most of the Rivers of America shots from this period I am sure you are correct. It was pretty sparse in the landscaping department in 1955!
Sue - take your time!
