Four From One

I am squeezing four photos from one today with this fantastic vintage 1956 image taken in Central Plaza at Disneyland. It may look like your standard image until we zoom in and see the interesting details, like what the landscape looked like before the Matterhorn. Nothing to cover up this unsightly tower!

How about this amazing vintage straw hat?

And let's get a closer look at the Wagon and Guests. 10¢ for a ride? Heck, today it's FREE! Well...as long as you pay the $100+ admission fee!

More vintage (and current) Disneyland Central Plaza photos at my main website.

Thanks Dave...I bet if Cal/OSHA saw those wagon riders now they would have a fit and fall in it!

There used to be such a great choice of hats to buy in the 50s there. I had a Tom Sawyer hat like this back then from Disneyland - but my fav was a pink Chinese coolie hat

Given the current management's fascination with making an alternate "Premium experience" above and beyond the regular experience, it's just a matter of time until those signs asking an additional fare to ride go back up.
