Moving on with the Mark Twain

This undated shot shows the Mark Twain with a full load and Tom Sawyer Island purty darn empty. Telephone poles/wires in the background definitely do not add to the ambiance! For more vintage & current Columbia photos, visit my regular website.

It always amazes me just how stark Disneyland was in the earliest days!

Kinda creepy.

Nice framing, do you think this was this taken from the bridge going over to the Plantation Restaurant? This must be 55 or early 56 since there is no Mill on the Island yet. Creepy, maybe... Would I step into this photo and spend the whole day, you bet! Thanks Dave, as always, your posts are great!

You'd think I would be tired of looking at the Mark Twain, but I still love it, especially early views like this.
