The Monorail cruises by the it's a small world attraction, circa June 1970. Zooming in to see the bubble (another detail obsession of mine), I noticed that “Alweg” was still part of the attraction name.
Still there in August 1975:
…and the bubble, too!
But as you can see in the genuine ©FauxD image from July 1978…
Alweg had gotten the boot!

ALWEG still is proudly displayed on the Seattle monorail trains.
In the history of monorails, I don't think anything will ever surpass the greatness of the Mark II and Mark III. It's always glorious to see any picture of the originals regardless the mark. That's interesting to know about Alweg still being prominent in Seattle. Cool info, thank you.
Just love the picture of the monorail in the Parking Lot. Was the first thing I saw walking toward the timeshack. KS
