March 1964 Medley

Here are a few from March 1964, starting off with a parking lot shot that includes the Disneyland Hotel and a portion of the DLand Sign. Shot two shows good ol’ Town Square with the Douglas Moonliner peeping out from behind (hey Matt, does that Horse-Drawn Trolley make you want to drive to the park today?).

The last shot for today is a Tomorrowland view featuring the Astro Jets swirling around at breakneck speed! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post featuring rehab pics of the Submarine Voyage...circa 1964.

Weird...on saturday I will be posting a similar photo of the Disneyland Hotel from the parking lot! Mine is from further away though....

Love the Hotel shot. Still hoping someone will uncover a picture or 10 of the Monorail Cafe.

Thank you Daveland! Yes, I would so enjoy hearing the horse’s hooves, “clip-clopping” their way down Main Street. That wonderful echo of the “clang-clang-clang” of the bell between the shops. All the while, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of our Main Street U.S.A. I’m outa here… see ya!

The Disneyland Hotel looks so tiny! Nice Tomorrowland shot too. I'm not sure you could fit more attractions in one picture.
