Dreaming of a “creamy” get-away for Labor Day weekend? The near-sighted Pola Debevoise’s (Marilyn Monroe) dreams in 1953’s “How to Marry a Millionaire” were dashed when her supposedly wealthy suitor (Alex D’Arcy) turned out to be a crooked speculator.
Her character made lemonade instead and found true love with a man on the lam from the I.R.S. (David Wayne).
