Disneyland 1956, Pt. 7: The End

This trip back to 1956 ends today with a shot of Frontierland and The Golden Horseshoe. Hope you had a nice trip; I'm off to TSI today for one last trip before its semi-extreme makeover (and a Grand Circle tour, too, since it’ll be 86’ed for about a month, too).

Any idea what this guy is doing up here, or how he got here? He looks like a regular DLand guest, not a cast member in the show.

See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland Frontierland photos at my main website.

Great shot of the old Trading Post. The guy on the balcony could be anyone. Who knows, maybe he could be an off-duty employee, even one of the Mouseketeers in "civilian" clothes!

Hope you had a great time on and around TSI! I wish I could have been there for its last hurrah. I'll have to settle for my many photos instead! ;)

There was a time when you could actually go out on that balcony to sit and relax. A little like an early version of the Disney Gallery balcony.

Thanks anonymous; I was just realizing this weekend that there are very few places left to just "relax" at DLand anymore; so many people there, and so much of the space is just maxed out.
