Disneyland 1956, Pt. 6: The Castle

Upon closer inspection of this 1956 Castle shot, I noticed two Robin Hoods and/or his Merrie Men taking a breather nearby.

The 2nd shot is another 1956 view of the Castle, this time from the side, with the edge of the Omnibus appearing on the right side.

Anybody else heading over to TSI for the final weekend in its current state? For more Castle photos, visit my regular website.

Wow, more new info. Who knew that "Merrie Men" ever wandered Fantasyland??

The third picture is interesting, I don't think that the water in the foreground is there anymore. Though I could be wrong!

The third shot is taken from the entrance to Frontierland. The water is still there, just covered up with vegetation and a walkway.

Any guess what the blue sign by the walkway is advertising? Looks like they might be selling something for .75 cents. Also, it's fun to see those orange trees still in place near the bandstand area.
