This April 1959 image shows the Gonzalez Trio at the Frontierland Gates. Perhaps it was also on a Friday that they were serenading the guests.

I always get a laugh out of the sad and indifferent expressions people have when candidly caught in a pic. You're at DISNEYLAND! SMILE! ...geez. At least the Gonzales trio is having a good day.
I love photos of bored and grumpy families at Disneyland. There's something refreshing about it. Not everyone is bitten by the pixie dust. The Gonzales Trio may or may not be having a good day, but they're smiling because it's part of the job and they're professionals. I'm sure their smiles are sincere though.
I wish there was more information around about these three musicians as I've seen lots of photos of them through the years but not much about their history at the Park or their lives. Anyone know anything about this group? Thanks, Dave.
