This shot gives a nice overview of what is now the River Belle Terrace Restaurant and seating area. In the lower left-hand corner, you can also see a sign for the Oaks Tavern, which is now the Stage Door Cafe. This building adjoins the Golden Horseshoe Saloon.

I like the Oaks Tavern sign and the brightly colored umbrellas. Nice overhead shot of this area, home to several restaurants. This is where the original Casa De Fritos was located, as well as Don DeFores Silver Banjo and at the very end was the Aunt Jemima Pancake House.
Am I mistaken, or is the River Bell Terrace area going to be torn down and replaced soon??
It is my understanding that yes, the River Belle will be closed, but that it is just undergoing a transformation, not a teardown. I believe that Bengal BBQ is going under the axe, and that it's space will be taken over by the new and improved River Belle, which is supposed to become a sit-down service restaurant.
The rumor I keep hearing is a tear down and then rebuild in a similar style with a second floor restaurant facility with balcony seating (so Disneyland can sell more seats and specials for the Fantasmic show!) The restaurant will be a sit-down service restaurant. It will be interesting to see if they do go through with the plan as several of the Disney websites have detailed.
