Today we get a little glimpse of Frontierland in the 1950’s in glorious (albeit sometimes shakey) black and white, starting with the Gullywhumper Keelboat. This shot was taken from the Mark Twain. I have included a closeup of the Frontierland Depot area.
Next up are two shots of the Mark Twain, taken from the banks of the Rivers of America.
Tom Sawyer Island looks purty young in this photo; nowadays, with the way the trees have grown, you can barely see the Treehouse that sticks out in this photo.
Along the River, this friendly Indian has waved to guests for years.
The Stagecoach takes another load of guests around the dirth paths of Frontierland.

Look at the guys in the motor boat next to the Gullywhumper in the first pic. You don't see that very often these days, with guests around that is.
