The Devlin Collection: Main Street
Today I am dipping back into the Devlin collection for a look at Main Street. Shot #1 shows the Ernest Marsh pulling into Main Street Station. Judging by the Parkling Lot, looks like a good day to visit Disneyland! Shot #2 is from January 1962 and shows the Sunkist Citrus House on Main Street.
Here is the closest thing I have to contemporary shot of this section of Main Street:
Here’s the Devlin family hanging out on Main Street, circa October 1965. Hopefully they’ve had the good sense to share a Great Moment with Mr. Lincoln at the Opera House!
This undated evening shot of Town Square is from some Holiday season during the 1950’s. Most likely it is pre-1959 as the Matterhorn is not visible.

You’re killing me with the ‘before & after” photos, thanks!!!! Amazing how much detail is still there. Neat Mr. Lincoln sign on the lamp post, I like the little flags on each side!
My how Main Street has changed!
