Replaced by Critters and Pooh, the Indian Village was a nice touch of the Frontier that gave guests a nice combo of fun and education, commonly known as funucation. Here are two from July 1960; the 2nd shot is postcard-perfect.
Here’s one from July 1961; I am guessing it was taken from the Train between the Fantasyland and Tomorrowland Depots; experts?

Yes, that shot would have been taken just outside the Fantasyland train station. Located just behind the Midget Autopia. The question is: What was the photographer trying to capture?
This is a wonderful site you have. Just discovered it by chance.
This shot is not of the area behind Midget Autopia. It's the entrance to the backstage area that houses the Storybook boat storage facility and a small employee break area. The hedges (the same hedges which act as a berm for the Storybook attraction) behind both the structure and the flags, and the Matterhorn in the upper left corner pinpoint this shot to that location. These aerial photos display the exact location:

Also, Dave, the URL that you link the image to is incorrect:

...it's actually...

Dave, thanks for posting this photo — a rare find indeed!
Thanks for the clarification Jim - much appreciated!
Uh, Jim - the area you pinpoint IS behind the Midget Autopia. You are correct on your other points.
Anonymous, thanks for the re-clarification -- I stand corrected. You know, I had it stuck in my head that Midget Autopia was on the opposite side, intertwined with the Motor Boat Cruise. Now I'm curious if there's an aerial photograph (or map) on the Internet that shows how the attraction's track was situated around the Storybook location. A quick search brought up these shots:

...but I couldn't find anything that shows the track's configuration.
Here's an even better photo of Midget Autopia from Dave's blog. It looks like the track wraps around the back end of Storybook, but stops short of the gate shown in the photo that we're commenting on. Jr. Autopia can also be seen in this shot.
