After posting my two-year old "contemporary" shots of the Grand Canyon Diorama, I couldn't very well leave out the Primeval World shots. Here are my seven shots from my last spin around the Park:
More vintage and contemporary photos of the Disneyland Primeval World Diorama at my main website.
If my math is correct, those Primeval World animatronics are 53+ years old. They were built for the 1964 World's Fair in NYC, correct? And still moving to this day. I wonder if the insides as well as the skins have been replaced over the years.
Disney World should really take the dinosaur animatronics from Universe of Energy and make a similar diorama for the Magic Kingdom. Otherwise, those old animatronics are simply going to go to waste. :(
