More Fantasyland: May 1958

Today I am posting two of the best Skyway shots I have seen in awhile, taken consecutively in May 1958. Shot one is a nice overview of the Storybook attraction, and also includes views of the Fantasyland Depot and the Viewliner Station (as well as the back of the Midget Autopia). The second shot shows the Blue Viewliner/Station, Junior Autopia, AND the Midget Autopia (oh yeah, and the Fantasyland Depot WITH the train still at the station).

  1. When you think about it, the Viewliner was just a little train ride...but I sure love seeing pictures of it! The blue one shows up much less than the red one, as you know....

    Hey Dave -
In the bottom photo, can you tell us what all the signage says on the building between the Midget Autopia and the Viewliner? It's the structure with the white roof and what looks like nautical/life preservers on the rail. Thanks!!

  5. I've zoomed in and it's still too blurry to read; I will post the closeup shot tomorrow. Sorry!

    Dave,
I have to agree You continue to provide outstanding views of the park. I have never fully comprhended where the viewliner was...until now.

That building looks like the Motor Boat Cruise - but drained of all water.
