If the Neptune Pool didn’t do much for you last week, maybe a few shots of the Roman Pool will encourage you to take a trip to San Simeon! With a tennis court overhead, the slightly dark Roman Pool has plenty of glitter with its bright blue and gold hand-laid tiles. Talk about bling!
The setting of Hearst Castle is just as beautiful as the buildings; you can see why Hearst felt so connected to his home on the hill!
Just a reminder: if you plant to visit Hearst Castle, definitely book your tours ahead of time as they fill up fast. For more information, visit their
website.

The Roman Pool is beautiful, but I'll bet it is COLD!
ReplyDeleteIncredible! But the way you can't see the bottom of the pool is kind of creeping me out. Was the bottom of the pool that dark in person too?
ReplyDeleteIt's too beautiful, isn't it? Thanks for the photos. This set really lifted my day.
ReplyDeleteThat first landscape photo shows why I call California's Central Coast "the gates of heaven."
