Here are two shots circa 1957 from Frontierland. Up first, The Stagecoach barrels through its route, viewing some of the same scenery that guests see on the long-gone Mine Train.

ReplyDeleteSeems they really shifted colors on the rockwork back there didn't they? Here it is more like a dry mud / sandstone and later on I think they started getting the rusty oranges of Big Thunder goin'.
ReplyDeleteThat bully, Jud on the left, picking on that little girl's paper hat. ;) Boy the older gentlemen leading the team on the right sure looks like he came off the ol' cowboy ranch... and he probably did.
