It’s 1956, and even the Horse-Drawn Streetcar placard is getting a little cleaning attention from a cast member. I have included closeups from both of these shots, as well as a view of the Bekins truck near the Fire Department.
The shadows are killin’ me, as this rare view including the Wooden Indian would have been very cool with just a little more light in the right places. Still, how often today do you have the opportunity to snap a view like this unencumbered by a slew of guests? Note Vesey & Co. in the background playing for a handful of watchers.

Whoever took these photos obviously LOVED Main Street, just look at how many pictures he/she took before they started heading past Town Square!
ReplyDeleteThree vehicles and no Guests -- jeepers! This must have been a spectacular day to visit the Park. Not only does it look the Guests far outnumber the Cast Members, but the mountains are SO CLEAR!
ReplyDeletewow what a wonderful 'day in the life of main street' set. Please keep them coming.
