What can I say about one of my favorite places in the world? Well, quite a lot, but for your sake, I’ll try to refrain. It’s a beautiful hideaway, tastefully decorated (except for the formal dining room which was whored up a few years ago like an I Dream of Jeannie Harem), where one can relax and renew a little creative energy while attended to by an excellent staff that feel more like friends than employees. While my house was being remodeled and looked like a war zone, I frequented the Chateau on many a weekend. Alas, it has been ages since I last stayed there.
