Stagecoach Two-fer, July 18, 1955

Here are two shots from the 2nd day the park was open of the Stagecoach ride. I sure do miss all the different forms of transportation once available in Frontier/Adventureland; they just seem to be shrinking away. The Keelboats, The Stagecoach, the mules...well, maybe not the mules.

See more vintage Disneyland Stagecoach photos at my main website.

  1. I didn't know that the Stagecoach once loaded so close to the river. In the second photo, way in the distance, you can see yet another horse-drawn conveyance (the buckboard?).

  2. Great views. At Disneyland they now have two of the surreys out at the petting farm area. On one is a great Surrey Rides sign and in the cabin they have placed another Surrey ride sign in the display. There is also a great image of Main Street in 1959 with all the vehicles out. This shot and Major's comments sparked this comment.
