Here's a wacky photo of a clown at Disneyland in December, 1955, the year the park opened. He’s promoting the Disneyland Circus. I'll be adding more photos here and on my regular website once I get a little more time.
The clown is actually Chucko the Clown who appeared on one of the local Los Angeles TV stations (I believe channel 11) showing cartoons. There is a wonderful Disneyland Hotel menu featuring his face as the menu. I also think he was part of the Mickey Mouse Club Circus at Disneyland.

ReplyDeleteThat's OK - it was an impossible request. No one has those (OK - WDI photo library has one interior of X-1, it's in 'The Nickel Tour').
