I...Yeah, that $4.95 included a ticket book alright. In fact, the price for general admission (no ticket just entry and a pass to Mr. Lincoln)was only two bucks (maybe two fifty) at that time. I remember going a number of times when I was ten to twelve years old with my sisters who were 15 and 17 years older than me. We did a number of two dollar trips circa 1970 with extra tickets we had saved and scrounged from who knows where. The general admission price was never on the menu board as I recall, but that was the charge if you didn't buy a ticket book.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03999502921261962295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-6406641196656839402014-11-24T13:12:52.904-08:002014-11-24T13:12:52.904-08:00I think the point is that they're standing at ...I think the point is that they're standing at the exit, no inference about whether or not they're starting or ending their day.Fifthriderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480975804451839176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-30886994279944097912014-11-24T07:50:53.762-08:002014-11-24T07:50:53.762-08:00Of course it's the exit area, but shown from t...Of course it's the exit area, but shown from the OUTSIDE. It also included tickets for the attractions.

The Big 10 Ticket Book ($4.95) included admission plus 1 "A", 1 "B", 2 "C", 3 "D" and 3 "E" coupons.

That Deluxe 15 Ticket Book ($5.95) included admission plus 1 "A", 2 "B", 3 "C", 4 "D" and 5 "E" coupons.

With the large crowds, I'd assume 10-15 attractions is what the average Disneyland guest experiences these days.

Of course I always had to have the Deluxe 15 and purchased additional tickets after my book ran out of coupons.

Love the image today. It actually looks like there beginning their day at Disneyland, not leaving. Thanks, Dave.K. Martinezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03960970051790617367noreply@blogger.com
