Also, in the background of that shot is the Aztec Bowling alley, which became Wild Bill's Wild West Dinner Extravaganza and is now the Pirate's Dinner Adventure.TokyoMagic!https://www.blogger.com/profile/16340756514811789233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-69935563075748515272010-11-04T11:59:19.699-07:002010-11-04T11:59:19.699-07:00I believe it went through a few owners and lack of...I believe it went through a few owners and lack of attendance and popularity in wax museums caused the closing.Davelandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720475138513029144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-67194281095615535222010-11-04T11:35:26.958-07:002010-11-04T11:35:26.958-07:00What was the reason for its closing in 2005? This shot shows the exact same costume, but like you said...not a resemblance to Laughton at all. Not sure if the figure was switched out over the years or not.Davelandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720475138513029144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-26623290968481020652010-11-04T10:26:07.420-07:002010-11-04T10:26:07.420-07:00For some reason, taht PT-109 scene always stood ou...For some reason, taht PT-109 scene always stood out to me, maybe because of the real water.<br /><br />I also remember a scene with Sophia Loren, and they piped in some of her Italian dialogue, which was weird.<br /><br />"Charles Laughton" looks more like Orson Welles.Major Pepperidgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09843598326995116014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-11417014411095390472010-11-04T09:21:00.655-07:002010-11-04T09:21:00.655-07:00That's real water, Stu.

It looked as though it hadn't been emptied out for a decade. Wow! Thanks for the info. I enjoyed going there as a kid and then went one last time in 1988 and found it to be a little sad looking.Connie Morenohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14112860706520621190noreply@blogger.com
