My favorite shots were of the Disneyland Hotel.

Interesting how the hotel started on the East Side of it's square plot, eventually expanded to the West half and now the East half is bulldozed under the new Downtown Disney.

Had some great memories at the old hotel...walterworldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18319070921534941313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-12336676440031233012008-01-11T14:24:00.000-08:002008-01-11T14:24:00.000-08:00Amazing!Dave - check your email!Amazing!

Dave - check your email!Chris Merritthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12759410855891198273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-78361596067705688112008-01-11T09:58:00.000-08:002008-01-11T09:58:00.000-08:00What great photos -- especially the Bird Cage Thea...What great photos -- especially the Bird Cage Theatre stuff! In the photo where they're taking a bow, I beleieve that's Ronny Morgan on the left. He was a fixture at the Bird Cage for many, many years.Chris Jepsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00207321906121901004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-89164187979894966912008-01-11T09:15:00.000-08:002008-01-11T09:15:00.000-08:00Steve Martin writes about this time very lovingly ...Steve Martin writes about this time very lovingly in his new book. My friend and I took the L A Airways Chopper to LAX, and then to San Francisco, for a vacation. Unfortunately this helicopter, a Sikorsky S-61L, registration #N300Y was on a flight from LA Airport to Disneyland as Flight 417 when it crashed in Compton on August 14th, 1968 due to rotor separation. No one survived. With all the happy times and fun things associated with Disneyland, reality does sometimes suck. The Viewliner Limitedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05730924067419581447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-18863229609706600782008-01-11T07:07:00.000-08:002008-01-11T07:07:00.000-08:00Wow, those color photos from inside the Bird Cage ...Wow, those color photos from inside the Bird Cage Theater are amazing!
