You just see the rails floating there in the asphalt; you don't think about what's under them.Scott Schrantzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00270627046239316215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-54243709252619152912009-05-07T10:36:00.000-07:002009-05-07T10:36:00.000-07:00Hi CoxPilot:

Here, the vehicle advances through the switch and then backs up, guiding the vehicle onto the back stage spur.Katella Gatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05562521359201308834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-80495884797507223952009-05-07T10:17:00.000-07:002009-05-07T10:17:00.000-07:00Ab-Fab Dave! Two weeks after the big opening, we went. Isn't that a camera tower in the background of the last photo?

I never realized the trolley tracks had a switching system. I just thought that the trolley driver drove the horse in the correct direction. I have stood in that spot many times and didn't notice any switches.CoxPilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16284076551547506117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29249921.post-86968997220742482002009-05-07T09:25:00.000-07:002009-05-07T09:25:00.000-07:00That must have been an exciting time... people wer...That must have been an exciting time... people were so willing to work extra hours in the evenings and weekends (how did they do this with so many union employees?).
